Food and security is a real worry for many people whose income, 50 % of their income is going to food. Patrick uioka has a farm in the northern part of mallawe, in a place called nikatha bay. He produces both live stock and crops, so things like chillis, ginger, ground nuts and pig production. Producing all these things costs a lot more now. The cost of fertilizers are up. And even some of the wakes that we usually hire be eat on season orbases or on foot basis, demanding more of ther pay because they needt orso sustain themselves from day to day basis.
