What's the Cut Out of Season One?

The original cut of this episode came in at 40 minutes, which is way too long because for a show to air on television on network TV, it can only be 20 minutes and 30 seconds. I wish they could take all the stuff they cut out and rerelease it all. On the season one DVD, they have the deleted scenes from this episode that are delightful. The reason Greg couldn't split this up into two episodes was he thought of doing one episode that was just about throwing the birthday party. And then you could have filled it out with some of these general office life scenes.
