Alluvium: An Awesome Example of a Game Development Background
Alluvium has just been the most amazing example I've seen of like guys that didn't come from a video game development background but just love gaming, building something which really has momentum. The scope almost worries me but it's awesome to see it all coming together. CCP Games announced they're doing a blockchain focus game for those that don't know the creators of EVE Online - one of the longest running sort of virtual economies ever. They are going to head out to Iceland in September for the 20 year anniversary of the online service so that would be crazy.
