Algarisms are sets of mathematical instructions which find solutions to problems. Computers do this in a more complicated way by repeating mathematical equations over and over again. Equations are mathematical tances showing how two things are equal. And the most famous scientific equation of all, einstein's e equals m c squared, can be thought of as a three part algarism.
