Napoleon's Greatest Revolution in Military History

Napoleon reorganized the french military, bringing different forces together to form the grande arme. He divided this army into several corps, each with its own cavalry, infantry, artillery and general staff. Each corps was a miniature army headed by a miniature napoleon. Napoleon would give the marshals their missions, then let them accomplish it on their own. This was the monster that napoleon unleashed on europe in september 18 hundred five.
