The History of Egypt - The Exodus
Papyrus disintegrates too easily, so we have almost no egyptian court records on papyrus. As a result, the volume of surviving papyrus court records is far too small and fragmentary for us to find mention of the exodus in it. And then what about all the inscriptions they put on monuments? We have a lot more of those, because stone monuments and sheltered tombs survive the ages much better than papyrus does. But these wouldn't contain a mention of an event like the exodus.
