God Opens the Ears of the Lost
Forarminians believe that god does use means of revelation. They're just assuming, i think, without biblical precedent, that the gospel's not sufficient in it of itself. And so there has to be another supernatural work of grace that enables the common grace of the gospel to sufficiently be believable. I think that's just theological baggage, or adding to the text. It's not established anywhere in the bible.
