The Craft Prize for the Wevey
This year's prize is being held in the sole museum of craft art, which opened last year. I have always felt like there was a need, i think, globally, for craft prize that was able to kind of be used as a platform to really promote individuals. So could you tell us a little bit about how it's made? When i first saw this piece, i onnly at saw it in images. And what is amazing is it's completely woven. It's done out of a certain type of horse in which there is nearly, like a translucency to the hair. The practice of horsehair weaving is actually quite ancient to corea and china as well.
