Clarence Paul and Wunderz Blindness
Stevie Wonder's blindness meant he couldn't see or hear the audience. He would play for hours at a time, causing other acts to run late. Clarence Paul had to go on stage and shout in Wunderzia to stop playing. The band leader knew that the audiences were with Stevie so kept going as long as they could. One of the first times this happened was on one of the first Mototam review shows. After the performance ended, Clarence Paul dragged Wonder off stage and the MCS the audience to give him a round of applause.
