Having a Non-Traditional Path

In the arts, one thing that i noticed was that you start off as a contractor. So you're immediately expecting that i have to say what my value is. Ah. But getting to that point where really advocate for yourself and realize that you have worth is so important. And sometimes i wish i could kind of bring that in to the world of the engineer, just so that because i thinkit's such a powerful thing to be able to make things. Sometimes i feel like we don't as engineers. You're almost taught not to advocate for ourselves and see you're worth um, that hits hard,. That combined with the health care situation in the us.
