The US Military Emissions Today

The United States military emissions at their peak in 1991 were 100 million metric tons. In the immediate post Vietnam period they were also very high. Then with the end of the Cold War that is with conventional arms control and with nuclear arms control, there was an emissions dividend for the U.S., says John Defterios.
