I Don't Take Myself Too Seriously

In almost every other sport, you don't see going all out as the best idea. Think about power lifting. How many power lifters macks out every time? Almost nobody trains like that. Training has to be hard enough to cause adaptations, but not so hard that the stimulus to fatigue ratio is all out of whack. On average, a training should be right in the middle of that spectrum,. probably starting in the early phases, at the beginning. And then in the later phase of training, be it your mesocycle or whatever, then it goes up to the top d load and repeat.
