In normal circumstances, the right and left hemisphere are in constant communication. So to try to say that this one does that and that one does something else is not necessarily a reflection of no normal function. And your brain ships information back and forth, processing en left and right. The spinal cord is a brain of its own right? It's a complicated computer in its own right.
