R and Python Data Analysis Task Comparison

i don't think i've ever seen a post doing a side-by-side comparison of a data analysis task in r and excel. The conclusion here is that excel is an excellent tool because of its ease of use and size of its user base but if you're trying to do any sort of data manipulation or statistical analysis as an aspiring analyst or data scientist you're going to need to learn a language like r, python or julia. We love our irony on this podcast but uh my point-click interfaces work well wink wink none dutch.
