David Hume's Cagito Ergo Som
David hume: Why should we assume that we're anything more than just a collection of fleeting thoughts and emotions and experiences? In descart, i remember descart's famous cagito ergo som, i think, therefore i am. The reason descart's even saying that at all is as a rebuttle to radical scepticism. I he thinks this is one of the only things you can say that nobody can really disagree with. But again, leave it to david hume to find a way to disagree.
