Diversity in the Police Force
Research has found that increasinglhy diversity of police officers made a significant difference in police behavior. And so black and hispanic officers in particular, made fewer stops in arrest and used force far less often than white officers. This was especially true when they interacted with black civilians. Some really, truly great leaders are capable of rallying people around a common identity. But can it also happen when you have a sure purpose about something that's bigger than everybody? The exploration of space will go ahead whether we join in it or not.
