The American Response to the Bailout

The Biden administration is trying to make the banks help shore up the banking system with a fund that they pay in to and also by acquiring these smaller and mid-sized banks. But if it starts to feel like regular people aren't getting helped but Wall Street is, then you'll start to see an erosion of that after 2008. People felt that homeowners weren't protected. A lot of people lost their homes, but the banking system stayed secure at the cost of Main Street.
