The Working Theory of Union Density
Theory that there's no way for workers to win until a lot more workers are in unions is called Union Density. "I just think it's most outrageous theory I've ever heard or experienced," she says. In the state of Michigan, where they overturned right to work laws yesterday, there are people consistently winning. And then there's the majority of trade union officials who choose every day, remarkably to me, to lose.
