The Role of Europe in Generative AI Regulation

There are only so many countries that produce this technology. The EU can still dictate terms to them because the EU market is so big. China was able to do that to a certain extent at least dictating rules for how Western companies operate in China but it doesn't necessarily have that sort of pushing outwards soft powering more like open AI. Google are not at this point likely to change their technology to suit Beijing's domestic demands.
