We're now into the kind of golden age of Agatha Christie as a crime writer. She's so fertile in the 30s in terms of the book - ABC murders, Murder on the Ounter Express and first marpole. But this decade also sees her mucking around with family life: baby Matthew acquires nanny; Rosalynne loses husband to D-Day tragedy. And then World War II has begun -- she goes back to work at London University College Hospital where she works under pseudonym.
