The films division produced a wide variety of documentaries including one that i talked about in the book which is quite inventive it's about an alien visiting India and each of the visits by this alien is timed timed to the end of a five-year plan. So you see these uh these different modes by which the government was trying to reach out to people including things like popits and things like that with which they could do make a small production. We can tell that the public resonates with this propaganda because even private industry of sort of private popular culture reflects it, he says.
