Alcohol will have an inhibitory effect to the cerebellum. If you are trying to do this quite challenging motor procedure of putting your heel to your toe along a line without falling over, if you are inebriated with alcohol, the coordination and the proprioceptive motor control is being inhibited by it. And so you get like an ataxia, which is a floppy core. That's metencephalon. Myelin cephalon is the medulla, the lowest part of the brainstem,. The midbrain, the pons and the medulla all together as the brainstem.
