The One Who Forsaken Me

In philippians too, we learn that when god took on skin in jesus, it says he emptied himself. And one aspect of that was holy, hot wrath. Jesus, for a season, lived among sinners without consuming them, in order that he might be consumed for them. It's the gospel of jesus that forgives us and drives us into future intimacy with god. Let's pray, most gracious god, and heavenly father. We thank you so much for the gospel. Would you move us into knowing you more fully? Your name, we pray. Jesus amen.
