I think this is reflective of the timeless debate. Works versus faith, right? Does form matter to God or is it intent? And I believe that that's where Jesus was really getting to with what he was teaching. We miss the point of the scriptures when we are only looking at them to validate our own, you know, truth. The idea of a priesthood holder being someone who officiates and checks these sacrifices for us has been done away with.
