When you sit and talk to them, it's quite humbling really I find. They're actually quite a lot of nothing in some respects but they're quite interested in their humdrumless life. One told me that he was at Arnhem before he joined the Glider Pilot Regiment he was in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He said on the night of the 26th came and he said it was quiet and everybody had goneEverybody had pulled out and left us all behind. And then a lorry pulled up outside this house and he says it was a German lorry with an SS officer who looked after these six wounded gliders as POWs. It took him about two hours but
