Is There a Critical Eye on Your Work?
You have to be more critical of your work than you are of anybody else's. You know, lecture is the absolute worst way to teach because it lulls people into a false sense of security. Because people are so busy copying things down, they're not listening. I love Ray D. and Verno's comment about course notes. A lecture is a way of getting the instructors course notes into the students notebook without interaction by the student. That's basically one lecture. Are these days ready?
