The First Amendment and the Violence in the Southside of Chicago
The Southside of Chicago is one of the most violent neighborhoods in all of Chicago. The new mayor, Brandon Johnson, has described Austin as one of the city's most violent areas. Some say this discourages people from applying for a mortgage there. This speech under the First Amendment should not be taken seriously, says CNN's John D. Sutter.
