Gaia's Data Dump

Gaia is going out to a location about a million and a half kilometers behind the Earth, away from the sun. It's going to scan the sky looking for a billion stars, the brightest billion stars that it can see,. And it's also going to say something about how they're moving across the sky. So, we'll see how the Milky Way has formed and evolved, basically, from the Big Bang until today.
