Saito's reading, rereading of Marx does offer us some resources. What he's really trying to do there is bring it to a higher level of post-historical materialism which renews the sort of pre-capitalist utopianism on a higher level. And I think we can't be just contemptuous of that because basically everybody who's involved in politics has something more important than the bottom line. That's part of the joysance of politics.
