The Role of Histamine in Angioedema
1 in 1000 to 1 in 300 people that are on nonsteroidal will get an attack of angiodema. The histamine mediated ones are almost certainly going to be associated with urticaria and itching occurs in over 50% of the cases. For most patients it will be within minutes or potentially the first hour if you think about food ingestions. And these generally, so the Histamine mediated ones will generally completely resolve in under 12 hours.
