The Distributional Question in American Politics
In our country, GDP is growing about 2% per year. In your country, maybe half of that right now. And so we can argue that rich people or even middle class people here don't need a lot more income. But at the same time, as long as we're generating a 2% growth, why should our incomes be stagnant? That distributional question is an extremely germany and important one if you want to understand not just American politics, but politics in many advanced economies now.
