i feel like we have hit a point where we need a different way of describing nervous system function, then fight, flight, freeze or flop. I think what's happening with a lot of us is what's happening nervous system wise, is mild, but chronic. And i believe that part of why we are so stressed is that we repress the extent of the experience that having as one of fight or flea can lead to. If you're not releasing that, you're literally just holding tension in your body - and this extends far beyond focus. The implications for relationships are profound. There's actually a need to fully embrace and and feeling our anger so we're not projecting it sideways
