The Benefits of Larger Reserves
When a bank gets deposits in, they can then loan out that money again. The percent of money that they have to hold and not relone is the reserve requirement. But it's an iterative process, right? So they loan it. And so you end up loaning out a lot of the money. Which is probably healthy in the long run. Not probably. It's healthy.
