Is Overplacement Different From Over Precision?

Over precision happens when you're too sure you are right, too sure about the accuracy of your knowledge. Over placement is all about beliefs about your placement relative to others. People exhibit over placement even though they think they're better than average on lots of things. When do we think we're going to be better than average, which is impossible and whon do we think will be worse than average in a task that's also impossible? Moderator: I love that started talking about under confidence, or under policemen and impostor sindrom because it's really interesting.
