The Battle of Eastern Solomon

In between the Marine arrivals on the 22nd of August were five US Army Air Force's P-400 AeroCobras. They tried to do battle with the zeros and failed, but they found a niche that was very, very valuable later on in the campaign. These are AeroCobra aircraft. The Soviets figured out how to use them and came to love them. Yep, we'll definitely get there.
