What Happened in 19 Seventies?
Some people speak of an undeclared emergency, because there is a visible authoritarianism. There is a capitulation of independent institutions like the press and even the judiciary to the power of norenramodi and his party. The media has completely collapsed, and large sections of the juditiary as well. So i think the mater newspapers intellegencein chanels, with one or two few exceptions, essentially carry the party line. They praise the prime minister morning to night. And they often promote nasty, vicious propaganda against religious minorities and so on.
