i think what turns people off about this movement, or about the idea of spending so little, is that we came from poverty. Every one, or most people that i've met that have reached financial independence or are well on their way, including myself, were earning a lot of money. Even if they chose to spend less, run, it was a choice. I'm a big doponent of enjoying the journey and finding ways to have joy along the way. Not imi.
