The Importance of Humor in Reagan's Life

I don't think Reagan was inherently cruel, but his policies had the effect of being cruel. A lot of that came out of warmth and genuine affection for people. But Ted Cruz, as you say, I don't think even really recognizes humor. You can tell like in his perception of it is there's something funny in what he's doing and there just isn't. If you put your ideology above the policy and you're going to come out with bad policy more times than not. There are a lot of people on the left who fall into that trap, too. It's cringy. To use the word 'biz biz' again they just want to make an orange
