The Different Thermal Responses of Wood
The thermal response of wood is different from that of metal. Touching the back of your chair and then touch the surface of a table in front of you feel different, right? They're exactly the same temperature, but they have different conductance. This perceives warm because it has less thermal conductance than this metal, all right? So we thought, okay, that's interesting. There's something related to wood. But a lot of the stuff on why people love wood and response to wood, you're not touching the wood. And the wood grain is interesting as well, the texture of wood grain, but we don't think that's probably not why we have this response to wood
