The Evolution of Australopiths
In the 90s mivliki who had taken over all the field work exercises from her husband Richard started to explore areas in on the western side of lake takana in in kanya. She found fossils that were assigned and still accepted as being asropithecus but that were over four million years ago. Later studies where the canyon and netheopian team started working together and compare notes and compare fossils all together really became very clear that this was one long evolving line for australopiths. The oldest apharensis is from tansanilla and the younger ones are from netheopia but you can actually put them on the table.
