The Myth of Stiff Alloy Bikes

The Amondah ALR has a maximum tire size of 28C. This means it is not designed solely for go-fast stiff riding. Trek are always very conservative compared to other brands when it comes to maximum tire, which if you could probably get a 30C tire in here,. even if Trek wouldn't officially recommend it. But either way, 28 is standard kind of nods towards the fact this isn't a bike just designed solely forGo-Fast stiff riding. Whereas the Amondah Carbon, that was one of my criticisms, criticisms I leveled at that bike, where 25s of stock struck me as a bit unusual and odd.
