Psychodelics - A History of Drugs
More than a thousand scientific papers were published detailing the results of these studies. But when celesty was adopted by the hippy movement, that research came to a screeching halt. In 19 70, president nixon signed the controlled substances act. Most psychodelics were listed as schedule one drugs; they had no legitimate medical purpose and a high potential for abuse.
