Automated Bag Drop in Avalon Airport?
Avalon Airport is one of five or six global competitors in the airport check-in space. It uses a camera-based system to be able to read bag tags, rather than using your normal oscillating lasers like in the cult's checkout. Because of that, we get 95% first-time success rates, which is a big difference from 70%. We're deploying this into an airport in the UK shortly and it will recognize you without having to touch a screen.
