Is the National Security Establishment Getting It?

This is a president who, during his transition, announced that climate was going to be a whole of governmenta issue. But in the middle of a global health crisis that has led to a global economic crisis and inflation on the rise, did he have a choice but to open up the oil reserve? Right? None of this would matter if he's a one term president. And now, i give credit to the last two presidents for trying to reorient the conversation in very different ways,. I don't think the last president did it in a particularly productive way. He at least began to re orient the conversation away from some of the old paradimes.
