Dupass and Grace McConnell
Grace McConnell met Peter Dupass during his time in the prison's psychiatric division. He initially viewed her as a motherly figure, given their 16-year age gap. In time he became infatuated with her and eventually admitted to have fallen in love. A psychiatrist described his personality as brittle and concluded that it had taken some considerable time to resolve his issues. After writing the letter, Dupass attempted to take his own life.
