He and one of his colleagues in the experimental philosophy club used to go and collect the corpses from Oxford Castle when they were executed for various crimes. On occasion they went and got the corpse of a young woman who'd been hung for murder and they took her back to their rooms. They were just just about to sink their scalpels into her when they realized that she wasn't dead quite. Over the course of the next few days with careful ministrations and all sorts of acts they managed to resuscitate her, eventually she sort of walked out of their lodgings you know in fine health. She had a stillborn child after being seduced by the son of the person she worked for
