The Romans Want Jesus to Be Killed

Brent: Couldn't they stone him? Not in jerusalem. I wouldn't want to i mean, stephen is stoned. You know, a really good question. They don't just want him dead. They want him dead in a particular way. And so the group of people that are having jesus killed definitely want him killed as a particular way to send a message to people that are watching. So i'm knocking, letting rome off the hook. But we'll deal with that later.
