Is There a Concern That Fire Suppression Is Helping to Increase Wildfire Size?
In the last forty years, forested area in western united states has increased by over 11 hundred%. That means that more than ten times more forest is burning in an average year to day. The increase coincides exactly with what youd expect based on the increase in temperature since the seventies. It's just no way that our fire problem isn't linked to our fire suppression problem.
