The Positive Effects of Living Without Hope
"I lost a good chunk of my life in Somalia, but the effects on my own mental focus, I think, were positive," he says. "Having that on people's minds is not a bad thing." The detrimental effect it had on the pirate gang was also 'a good thing' It could have turned out any other way; they're probably working on something else illicit now.
