The Importance of Pacing in Screenwriting
I think the tendency is always to sort of override dialogue. When you're having like an actual conversation with somebody, you never get that much that many words out before somebody interjects with their own reaction or thought. And then when you go back, you know, pair it down. Listen to how people actually talk to each other. It's true for both forms. You don't want to misdirect,. you know, the reader or the viewer's attention. The idea of the beats and kind of keeping that in mind, I did carry over that was helpful. Okay.
